Welcome to Ireland, where the popular Guinness Storehouse in Dublin has expanded its famous “Gravity Bar” and created a new tour for beer lovers.
Behind-the-scenes tour
Located in a seven-story building in one of Dublin’s oldest and most traditional neighborhoods, visitors can discover all the details of the history and brewing of the famous Irish beer and learn how to pour the perfect Guinness themselves. In recent months, this popular attraction has unveiled two new experiences that only a few lucky locals have enjoyed: the expansion of the iconic “Gravity Bar” and a unique behind-the-scenes tour of exclusive areas previously closed to the public.
The footsteps of the brewery's founder

The new tour lasts approximately three hours and follows the footsteps of the brewery’s founder, Arthur Guinness. For the first time, visitors can enter the “Roast House,” where the barley is roasted. Then you can see some of the oldest parts of the brewery, such as the 200-year-old cask rooms, where Guinness beer was fermented for months before being shipped around the world.
Next, the tour continues through the famous tunnel that leads to Brewhouse 4, the modern brewery where Guinness beer is brewed today. The next stop is the experimental Guinness Open Gate Brewery, where you can taste limited-edition beers found nowhere else in the world.
To top it all off, visitors can’t miss sipping their own Guinness on the seventh floor of the Guinness Storehouse while enjoying privileged views of the Dublin skyline from the famous 46-meter-high Gravity Bar. The expansion of this iconic space was completed in March 2020, doubling its initial size in addition to offering a renewed aesthetic, incorporating new bars and a themed kitchen. In addition, you can find murals of Arthur Guinness and the iconic Guinness toucan painted by renowned Dublin artist Aches. Undoubtedly, a perfect ending to an unforgettable experience.
