Our journey began in the historic city of Cartagena. Upon arrival, a private transfer whisked us to our hotel, setting the tone for our luxurious escape.

Cartagena, with its colonial architecture, vibrant streets, and magical sunsets, felt like stepping into a fairy tale. We spent our first evening wandering the historic streets, soaking in the local culture, and indulging in delicious Colombian cuisine.

On the second day, we embarked on a city tour with a knowledgeable local guide, starting in the charming neighborhood of Manga. We marveled at the beautiful republican-style houses and the fort of Pastelillo.

The highlight was visiting La Popa Monastery for panoramic views of the city. Exploring the Walled City, we were captivated by its history and architecture, from the San Felipe de Barajas fort to the bustling Bóvedas market. The day ended with a leisurely stroll through Cartagena’s enchanting streets.

A day trip to the Rosario Islands was a highlight of our honeymoon. After a short boat ride, we arrived at a beautiful Caribbean eco-hotel. The clear waters and coral reefs were perfect for snorkeling and kayaking.

We enjoyed a traditional lunch, with the option to upgrade to fresh lobster—a treat we couldn’t resist. The day was filled with relaxation, water activities, and soaking up the sun before heading back to Cartagena for a peaceful evening.
